House League

  summer     winter      academy

The Mount Pearl Soccer Association’s Recreational (House league) Soccer program is where it all begins.  Boys and girls from ages U4 to Junior (U14 and U16) sign up for this program because their primary objective is to have fun playing soccer. This level of play is intended to be a fun environment where players learn all of the basic and not so basic skills needed to excel. Most coaches are volunteer parents who share the same love for the game of soccer.

Player registration occurs in April each year. During the regular season, Recreational teams play twice a week during week nights. The program starts in late June each year  with a “House League Kick-Off Tournament” and regular season games are played in Mount Pearl at one of several soccer complexes including, Smallwood Drive Complex, Central Field near Mount Pearl Intermediate School, Sand Pitch field near Mount Pearl Senior High School or Morris Academy field. The season comes to a close with the very exciting “Super Soccer Saturday” in early September where the House League Champions are crowned in each division. This is a fun day where all players get to participate and receive participation medals as well as enjoy the game of soccer along with their team mates. Food and refreshments is provided to players and coaches.
