Registration Now Open for "MPSA U11 Kickin’ it for a Cause" Tournament!

To wrap up the season for our Under 11 players, MPSA is proud to host the “Kickin’ it for a Cause” tournament. Scheduled for August 22-24 at the MPSA Fields, this tournament will be the perfect finale, combining competition, fun, and community spirit.

This year’s tournament features three divisions for boys and two divisions for girls, offering plenty of opportunities for young players to compete and have fun. Due to strong participation in the Metro League, the Girls U11 B division will include a maximum of 10 teams, split into two groups of five.

Tournament Format:

• The tournament will follow a round-robin format.

• In each division (including both Girls U11 B groups), teams will play against every other team in their group.

• The 1st and 2nd place teams from each division will advance to compete in the medal games.

What you need to know:

• Teams will consist of 10 to 15 players, all born in 2014.

• Divisions align with Metro League tiers:

  • Division A corresponds to Tier 1,

  • Division B corresponds to Tier 2,

  • and Division C corresponds to Tier 3.

• Teams must register in the division matching their Metro registration from the start of the season. For example, a Boys U11 Tier 1 team competes in Boys U11A, and a Boys U11 Tier 2 team competes in Boys U11B.

Tournament Details:

• Dates: August 22-24

• Location: MPSA Fields

• Most divisions will have 5 teams each, except Girls U11 B with 10 teams split into 2 groups.

• Each team is guaranteed at least 4 games.

• The full schedule will be shared as soon as possible, but no later than one week before the tournament begins.

“Kickin’ it for a Cause” is more than just soccer - we are proud to support our local food bank by collecting non-perishable food items during the tournament. We encourage all teams to contribute and make a difference on and off the field.
